Our founders saw a distinct need for a bank where bankers and customers know one another, where there is little turnover in personnel, and where decisions are made fairly, efficiently, and perhaps most importantly, locally. They combined their experience and knowledge with their entrepreneurial drive and focused on a select, yet critically-important, segment of the market — small to mid-sized businesses, professional service firms, nonprofit organizations and upper net worth individuals.
